One of the most important issues being that we are a log way from the mainland and so local experience, materials and goods all have to be imported. There are also a lots of bureacratic hurdles that owners of businesses have to deal with. Even so it's a fantastic place to live and thats a only an irritating inconvenience. The web helps a lot...
